With the June Desktop update, we now support updating your chart fonts to any of the fonts we currently support for textboxes. Learn more in our blog: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-june-feature-summary/#fonts We will be working on allowing you to use your custom installed fonts as well in a future release.

RE: Support for custom fonts
you can't say embedded powerbi supports custom fonts if you need a JSON workaround that only works if the user has the font installed. Companies have design style guides and branding guidelines, fonts are part of that identity.

this is a valid link
https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Desktop/Power-BI-Desktop-conditional-font-formatting-like-font-size-font/td-p/2999674
but gives 'We have encounter some malicious input. Please remove that and try again' error when setting up the link!!!
RE: Support for custom fonts
Hey -
Is there an update on this?
It would be most appreciated if we could add those custom fonts.
Could totally be a game changer for visually more appealing designs.
Thanks,

RE: Support for custom fonts
Shouldn't have to resort to JSON trickery to get at other fonts. Can't we just add fonts to a report and have them available normally?
RE: Support for custom fonts
This should allow us to embed the custom font directly in the parquet file as a base64 string. That way we can import the font into the file itself without having to install it on everyone's machine.
This also means we can have different fonts per report/dashboard and not rely on uploading it onto a server and rolling out the font company wide.
Fonts that are UTF8/unicode compliant are really useful especially those that support ligatures sure as nerdfonts.
RE: Support for custom fonts
Yes please, it would be a huge step in the design.
RE: Support for custom fonts
I can set a font like Arial in a paginated report as I build it. It previews fine, but then when I publish it to the service, it won't stick. I've inspected the XML and can see nothing but Arial in the XML, and yet when I publish it to the service I get something else. It would be great to be able to have the font I select also be the published font.
