Update, we will allow some custom fonts soon in mobile and paginated reports.
With the June Desktop update, we now support updating your chart fonts to any of the fonts we currently support for textboxes. It's great that you can add custom fonts to Power BI, but unless I'm missing something, it seems poorly thought out that you then can't use these custom fonts in text boxes.
I'd like to use a specific font that my company uses, and have managed to import it into Power BI.
However, the *only* place I'd like to use it is in the text boxes that act as my report title headers.
And I can't...

It would even be nice if the same fonts available to visuals were available to text boxes. For example, DIN is a font i use for visual titles quite a bit, but I'm unable to use that in a text box for some reason. This means i can't replicate a visual title with a text box.

Please allow custom fonts to be accessible on the service without the need for users to manually install .ttf files.
Many organisations use custom fonts for branding purposes and even when editing the report theme JSON file to use a custom font, it's not possible to see it on the service unless it's already been installed locally.
The default Times New Roman font which is shown in its place just makes me sad :(

yes, at least expand your font selection. What is it, only 25 at the writing of this? Expand font selection or allow for import of different fonts. PLEASE.

I ran into this problem.. not being able to show for outside customers the intended font abd I recommend a future fix to this, is not the same to guide your company's employee to install the font on their machine rather send a document instruction to the entire country and more on how to install the font where the targeted people who is going to see the report are people 90% no tech savy. Hope this can be updated ! :)

We need to be able to add custom fonts to PBI Service as well as desktop.
Many companies (mine included) have design requirements that include a specific font.
The ability to add a custom font in the desktop theme is useless if it doesn't carry over when the report is published to Service.

Being able to insert custom fonts in Power BI Desktop is almost useless if they are not embedded for general use through Power BI Service without the need for the font to be installed on the user’s machine. 👍
