Update, we will allow some custom fonts soon in mobile and paginated reports.

With the June Desktop update, we now support updating your chart fonts to any of the fonts we currently support for textboxes. Learn more in our blog: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-june-feature-summary/#fonts We will be working on allowing you to use your custom installed fonts as well in a future release.

RE: Support for custom fonts

It was important to be able to add fonts to Power BI.
It is a critical issue not to be able to use the corporate font in the reports
I hope this limitation will soon be overcome.
Thanks.

RE: Support for custom fonts

Hello,It would be really useful if we could embed fonts into the PowerBi report itself, perhaps as a base64 TTF or OTF file string.Custom fonts that use glyphs are really great because you can choose a color against the unicode item you want to import.I suspect using a font over an image also increases performance. There are some great fonts out there but the end users would need to install the font on every machine in order to view the report correctly.See also: https://www.nerdfonts.com/cheat-sheetMany Thanks,Martin

RE: Support for custom fonts

I would like to add a custom font to the reports. Extra plus if that font is also embedded with the report although this is not necessary. This would help make the reports feel more "ownable" and be more credible in a very visually driven or brand led company.

RE: Support for custom fonts

Hello, PowerBI is really a powerful platform for Business Intelligence and visualizations. However, there are a lot of font styles not currently available in this platform. Most of our clients have their own branding which includes font styles that are not available in PowerBI such as Open Sans, Raleway, and Work Sans. With this, it would be very helpful if these font styles be added to PowerBI both in desktop app and PowerBI Service.Thank you and more power!Derek Gianan

RE: Support for custom fonts

Allow for a multitude of different font types for Visuals. This is particularly important for the Title and Legend areas. Need to fit Corporate reporting standards by having the correct font to incorporate into visuals to match corporate reports.

RE: Support for custom fonts

When working with fonts that are not installed on the client device, the font reverts back to a random default (e.g. Times New Roman). We need the ability to either embed a custom font or import through URL (e.g. Google font API).
