I've really learned to enjoy the flexibility of the Plotly chart package. As a Python programmer it would be great to extend the Python support within Power BI to also include this powerful package.
When you have several matrix or table visuals on a report page, all grouped by the same "title" or text column(s), it would be nice to sync the scrolling so you would only need to scroll down on one visual and the rest of them would keep up and show the various information in the different visuals.
Vote for this idea if you want the ability to join or append tables together in Dataflows without having a Premium Capacity available.
Would be great if you can provide functionality to create linked PowerBI reports. Same as with regular paginated reports. Provides better security management and flexibility.
In Power Bi a custom cte query in DirectQuery is giving issues.This feature has to be enabled.As a workaround we can use import mode but when live data is required directquery has to be used.Right now this is not supported.
I have been using Query Parameters on my Embedded reports for a while now, which is great! Now I have been asked to default the parameter but allow users to select others. The problem here is query paramater sets a report filters values, and inturn the values available to the slicer are filtered...

All in the title. A semantic layer such as SAP Business Objects universes is the BASIS for self-service BI. Exists for over 30 years now, and MS does not even have dynamically populated prompts. Frustrating.
I would like to be able to add WMS layers (and ideally other map services) to the maps in PowerBI. Bing is great for a lot of things but there are a ton of WMS servers out there including services companies have spent time and money developing It would be nice to use those custom maps with PowerBI.
Allow to layer data over zones, IT sales staff in a state or zip code, create custom zones and add other list geo data, stores, homes etc.
