It would be great to write back functionality in Power BI so that users in PowerBi desktop or PowerBI web service can write back to an SQL server database or to a Sharepoint list. It is very important when planning budgeting, budget follow-up and forecasts

RE: write back
Hi everyone,We heard your feedback and have release this feature as part of our Dynamics 365 Finance Premium Offering, to help all FP&A Professional to plan and prepare their Budget/Forecast/Plan directly from your favorite reporting tools. You can now write back in Dataverse directly from Power BI through specific visual and Excel Pivot Table.Find all about it here:https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/finance/business-performance-planning/business-performance-planning-overviewhttps://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/modules/get-started-business-performance-planning-finance/introduction
RE: write back
Please give this feature or please provide some alternative. With fabric environment we are having high hopes 😅
RE: write back
Completely agree we need write-back as a stock table visual
RE: write back
Manually enter data in numeric, text, dropdown, and date formats. Entered numbers can be automatically allocate to the descendants based on prior year values, equally or based on a trend. This capability can be turned on/off in reading view or enabled based on a condition. Values entered automatically update other visuals in the report, and the audit log tracks every change in value. Learn more about manual data entry options here.

Inforiver's writeback ability allows you to save your sales projections, business plans, budgets, and the results of what-if simulations and scenario analyses along with commentary to databases such as Azure SQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, BigQuery, SAP HANA, PostgreSQL and MySQL and shared folders such as OneDrive and SharePoint or to URL endpoints. RE: write back
Want to write back to sql from powerbi whenever new data gets updated in powerbi from different data sources same data should get write back into sql server database with help of scheduler.
RE: write back
It would also be nice to have write back capability for manually entered tables so that the data could be entered directly from table and matrix table reports in Power BI Desktop instead of going through the "Enter Data" dialog. Entering data directly in a matrix table instead of the "Enter Data" dialog would add powerful context making it much easier to populate a user defined table.
RE: write back
The Write-back to database capability from Power BI table visual is very important to including forecasting information
RE: write back
I need this to 'play' with suggested changes to my data.
RE: write back
Yes please. The Powerapp embedded visual is a step in this direction, but the user experience remains poor. We need to emulate the same simple user experience as people have when they edit data in Excel
