Currently, the theme can only be switched with Power BI Desktop. It would be great if I could switch themes once my report has been published to the service.
I think it is quite necessary to make a feature which enables users to sync slicers between different reports (different PBIX files). Because in a command center, users sometimes want to compare data from different reports, with similar slicers/filters applied. It will improve the hassle so users...
The version of R available to run custom visuals in PowerBI is out of date, and many of the packages available to use (including ColorSpace) are out of date as well. The current R runtime is 3.4.4, which was released in March of 2018. R version 4.0 was just released, with many associated changes....
Please implement conditional formatting for donut charts, so that we can SWITCH between two categories in the same donut chart and format colors based on category.
Provide DAX functions that execute R and Python scripts. Similar to how you can insert an R or Python step in Power Query, allow a construct similar to: Column = VAR __MyVar = PYTHON("python code goes here") RETURN __MyVar This would open up a whole world of analytics and other capabilities...
If a dataset in one workspace is used by a report in another, that report does not show in the data lineage view for the dataset. However, the reverse situation has the desired behavior: the dataset does show in the data lineage for the report (with a link icon on the dataset and a hyperlink to ...
Rather than digging into Options and Settings > Options > Current Report, it would be great to have a check box right next to the Edit Interactions button.
Add conditional formatting options to column header labels and chart axis titles. This would allow tables/matrix column headers and chart axis tiltes to change dynamically based on the selection made by a user in a slicer. This would be a great addition to Power BI and would provide new options ...
Move datasets to other workspaces in Power BI service. This would provide the flexibility of re-arranging the existing Datasets/Workspaces and avoid re-creating them in the new workspace.
Power BI will let you manually size shapes down to 14 x 14. But if you try to use the Width/Height well to change size, it won't let you go below 40 if you're above, and won't let you go up from < 40 if you're below. There are very good reasons why we might want to go down to 14 or even lower, a...
