    Date formatting in date slicer

The improved date slicer is great. However, when using it in Between/Before/After mode, I want the dates to be displayed in the same way as in List/Dropdown mode. (That is, the way I've formatted them in my Power BI data model.) For example, we format all of our dates like '2017-03-31'. But in Between/Before/After mode, the date slicer always displays dates like '3/31/2017'.

Format of Date in Date Range Slicer

    Dear Team,

I hope this email finds you all in good health and spirits.

I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning issue related to date range slicers in Microsoft Power BI. Whenever I create a date range slicer in Power BI Desktop, it formats correctly to my desired settings. However, upon publishing it to Microsoft Power BI Server and accessing it through the public embedded link, the date format changes to mm/dd/yyyy, which is not the intended format.

Ideally, I expect the date range to be displayed consistently in dd/mm/yyyy format across both Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Microsoft Power BI Service.

To address this problem, I have made several attempts to resolve it by adjusting the regional locale setting in Power BI Desktop, disabling the automatic time intelligence feature in the preview features, and even modifying my browser's language settings. Unfortunately, all these efforts have been unsuccessful.

This issue is causing significant disruptions to my project, and I kindly request your assistance in investigating and resolving this matter as soon as possible.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.

    Best regards,

    Formatting Slicers

It would be useful if i can format the colour of the chevrons on the slicer.

I am using a slicer with two fields - month and date.

I have a background colour for the slicer which is a corporate colour and cannot be changed.

I can amend the colour of the values to white so they can be seen easily but not the colour of the chevrons which remain grey and are very difficult to see against the background

    Slicer formatting

It would be great to have the functionality to format slicers similar to Excel where you could specify the number of columns for a slicer.

    Date Slicer for "Between"

It would be great if we could format the shape and size of the slider handles in the "between" date slicer.

    Date Slicer should have granularity

In many cases it is required to select some months in the slicer (slider) and not day precise. A granularity level should be added to the date inputs section of visual format.

    Improve Date Slicers

I'm strugling to assemble an date slicer that automatically starts always on the last month. Not last date only, but bringing dates related only with the current month. In this way, I don't have to enter in my reports periodically to atualize them between month transitions. If, in some way, we could dinamycally change the value on the slicer, would be good! I tryed filtering the slicer with filter pannel (doesn't worked), I also tryed to filter the slicer with another slicher and doesn't worked either. Finnaly, I'm open to discuss the idea more, but I really think will help a lot of users. Thanks for your attention!

Restrict Calendar in date slicers please

When using a slicer to select dates via a calendar, it would be really handy if there is an option to restrict which days are visable. For example when I click the first input box a calendar pops open which is nice, but I only want the user to be able to select sundays, all other days should not be selectable to the user. Sundays could maybe have a different colour background, or non-selectable days be slightly greyed out to make it clear to the user as well. This could be done by a new option in date slices which you could restrictions, and allow the user to supply a date heirarchy of choice (by years, by Qrt, or by Month, week, day of week) and then in the format option allow the user to do colour options based on the restrictions.
