Today the Text fields of Stream Datasets can be show only as Legends in charts.
Would be very useful to have a Card that can show Text fields in the same way it can show Number fields.
This card will enable pre formatted text fields from the applications to be shown on Real-Time dashboards

Yes, YES! This feels like such a no-brainer. I want to be able to stream text messages to real time card type tiles just like I can with numbers, and I'm really baffled by the fact that this isn't possible.

Should be possible to build a card from any of the values in the json from the Streaming dataset along with formatting of the card. Even something like setting the background colour of the card based on the json would be nice. Bit too basic at the moment

It's amusing how the streaming data API has the ability to push _only_ 3 datatypes, text being one of them. And then in realtime dashboards text cannot be displayed in a card. The designers/coders of one department do not talk to the other.

Its extremely disappointing that basic features like this are missing in Power Bi and no one from Microsoft team has looked into it for 3 years!.
This must be provided URGENTLY!

Just want to add my vote for this. It seems like it should be an easy add and would clearly enhance usability. For me I just want to create a tile that shows a sensor as either "connected" or "disconnected". I'm using "0" and "1" instead but that's not near as clear to the end user...
