The application should have the ability to be deployed / updated like any other Office Package, either via the Office 365 Pro Plus CTR approach or traditional patching. It should also respect Group Policy for control of user settings and ability to disable features that may infringe corporate security policies.

Have you done some in-depth comparison between Power BI and Alteryx Designer desktop? Not exactly targeting the same user audience, but some "power users" intend to shift between Power BI (descriptive analytics, data visualization) and Alteryx-like functions (data integration, exploration, statistical analysis, predictive modeling, scoring, etc.). What is the roadmap or current capabilities on integrating Power BI with predictive analytics for "citizen data scientists"?

As an sccm admin, please put these updates in WSUS. Or at least let subscribe to an email list that tell us when power bi is updated.

RE: Support Group Policy and WSUS / SCCM Updates

Manual download makes roll out and updates much harder than necessary as we don't always allow people to update their own software.

It would be better if the app could support the self-update features that Microsoft Teams seems to have.

Every months (or less) having to manually download the installer, install it - OMG is soo annoying, if it wasn't for the cool new features I wouldn't bother. Seriously package updates via WSUS
