When in Advanced Editor in the Power Query Editor, if you pressed Ctrl-F a search box would open to help you find text within it.

RE: Enable Search box within the Advanced Editor.
This is terribly frustrating. PowerBI is such a great tool, but User Interfacing to build reports is not competitive. The "Advanced Editor" is the least powerful text editor I think I have ever seen. Simplest things such as search / replace functions do not exist. Contextual help is unintelligent, etc.... Some of these requests exists since 2018 (7 years). Please provide improvements to build, debug and maintain Reports in the advanced editor. Much appreciated
RE: Enable Search box within the Advanced Editor.
This is a very basic feature, and I'm surprised it's not available in the Advanced Editor. The entire Power Query UI and shortcuts is lacking, IMO.
RE: Enable Search box within the Advanced Editor.
This feature would save a lot of time!
RE: Enable Search box within the Advanced Editor.
Not sure why we should even need to ask for this.
RE: Enable Search box within the Advanced Editor.
I will really appreciate this feature.

how is this now one of the first things added to PQ?? if a query is 40 lines long and a column name has changed... it's ridiculous not to be able to ctrl+F and jump straight to the part of the query that needs to be edited or deleted... we have to scan the code or copy paste into a txt.... this is basic stuff.
RE: Enable Search box within the Advanced Editor.
Obvious improvement, please we need this now. Copy - paste the whole query to word, just to find a line of code is not a very professional way to work.
RE: Enable Search box within the Advanced Editor.
This is a no-brainer, guys. Come on. Seriously.
RE: Enable Search box within the Advanced Editor.
Same here. Many of my colleagues also complain about this and are forced to do the copy-paste, find and edit, and then copy-paste back to the advanced editor.
RE: Enable Search box within the Advanced Editor.
Yes please. I regularly have to copy my M code out into Visual Studio Code, then use ctrl-F there, make the changes and then copy it back into the Advanced Editor.
