This is one of the must have features in Power BI. When the developer wants to rename the Slicer, there are two ways. Either to rename the column itself or use the "Title" feature to create a new Title. Only the problem is once the title is enabled and Header is turned off, this takes away the ability of the developer to use "clear selections" as the option vanishes.

Please look into this. Also, we cannot change the orientation of slicer (Dropdown, list etc.) when header is turned off and title is turned on.

How is it 7 years later and they have not enabled this capability?

I'm having the exact same problem. The layout of my current project looks so much better with the Slicer headers switched off, but this removes a vital part of the user interface.

On our most recent dashboard we added a searchable slicer for company names. Given the layout of the dashboard it made sense to remove the header which disables the ability to clear all selections. This has made it frustrating for the user to have to manually search the list and de-select data points.
