Perspectives are a good way to provide a more focused view of your dataset. Report readers can use this to customize visuals. However, perspectives are not available in analyze in excel. I'd like to have the option to use the perspectives in analyze in excel, so instead of retrieving the entire dataset, the user can select a small portion of it based on perspectives already defined.

Agree this is for me an essential feature because especially on larger more complex datasets there is no way to explain the right usage to the end-users and thus the Analyze in Excel feature cannot be used for these scenarios.
