Ability to Cross-highlight data point on a scatter chart. For example, if I have a table containing rows of data that are plotted on a corresponding scatter plot, clicking on a row in that table would then highlight that data point on the scatter plot.

RE: Cross-highlight scatter plot
I really hope this is implemented soon. The DAX workarounds are sustainably and become a barrier to our more basic self service users getting the expected experience when compared to other BI tool (Spotfire for example).
RE: Cross-highlight scatter plot
I'm really surprised that this hasn't been implemented yet. All the other leaders in the Gartner Quadrant provide this functionality out of the box, without having to resort to complicated DAX work-arounds. I'd really like to see this feature added.
RE: Cross-highlight scatter plot
Lordy, even the "enhanced scatter" visual doesn't allow for this. For high-cardinality dimensions, this makes the scatterplot pretty useless.
RE: Cross-highlight scatter plot
come on, Microsoft, this is so fundamental. Please get it done
RE: Cross-highlight scatter plot
Agree that this would be a very useful addition to Power BI rather than having to create DAX workarounds...
RE: Cross-highlight scatter plot
Microsoft - please do this! Need to be able to click on a data point and point to (highlight) additional data specific to this data point
RE: Cross-highlight scatter plot
Would like to see this as well. The highlight feature on scatter plots is kind of key.
RE: Cross-highlight scatter plot
still nothing????????
RE: Cross-highlight scatter plot
Is this actually still not possible? Microsoft, it's literally the entire point of a scatter plot.
RE: Cross-highlight scatter plot
Would be amazing if we could get a cross-highlight option like on pie charts
