It would be useful to create custom "colapsable" sessions on the filter pane, Eg.:
:: - Date and Time Filters
:: - Country, State, Cities Filters
:: - Company, sub companies, plants
:: - Product related filters
:: - Whatever the user needs...
So that the user is not overwhelmed by many filters at once... he/she could choose a category and expand/colapse.
The New Filter pane is awesome, and it would be great to be able to organize the filters in sections.
I could remove all filters from the page itself, and put in the filter pane, as long as I can organize them for the user.
Also, there is another idea out there that we need to rename de fields to a more user friendly name, as we already do on visuals. Just enable this to filter itens too.
Thanks in advance.

RE: New Filter Pane - Create custom sections/categories
Love this idea!!! For not mature Power BI users, this will be a great facilitation.
RE: New Filter Pane - Create custom sections/categories
In New Filter Pane could also:
1.) the date filter have its simplified version like we have in Slicer. For example, selecting date range is overly complicated in New Filter Pane.
2.) Option for Single select filter, which would not allow to have nothing selected. Selecting nothing, currently selects all. For example, when a user is picking a reporting period, he/she should never be able to see all data, because the logic of the report is built only for a single-period.

Let's concentrate votes either in this idea or its duplicate: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/36001684-filters-pane-by-category
