Option inside slicers to show no data if nothing is selected

Currently if nothing in a slicer is selected, everything is selected in the background and shown. Please make a toggle inside the slicer options, to show nothing if no ticks are selected.

My current use case: I have 3 field parameters that make columns shown on a table toggleable. For them I have 3 separate slicers. If my users need only 2 columns, from 2 different slicers, and have unselected all from the 3rd slicer of columns, everything from the unselected slicer shows in the table. This is unintuitive and confusing to the users.

RE: Option inside slicers to show no data if nothing is selected

This is a known limitation of the field parameter: Let report readers use field parameters to change visuals (preview) - Power BI | Microsoft Learn What I've done in my report as a workaround is to create a column that just contains "-" as the value and added a "None" option in the slicer that enables it. Hopefully this is something that will have a proper fix applied when the feature leaves preview status.
