With the recent Power BI Licensing Change, Power BI free is ineffective for early adopters to evaluate and champion Power BI within their organization. That means that Power BI Pro is the only option. It would greatly help the Early Adopters if the Power BI Pro trial was extended to 90 days.

The Early Adopters already face a lot of uphill battles
- Usually an entrenched Old Age BI Tool
- The reaction of IT to go slow towards any new change
- Convincing Management and Peers that Power BI delivers incredible value
etc.

A 60-day trial means that the Early Adopters would be really racing against the clock. A 90-day window would give them a bit more breathing room, to deliver Proof-of-Concept solutions using Power BI and convince others that Power BI is indeed the way to go.

I deeply believe in Power BI and want it to be positioned well so that people and companies looking to adopt Power BI are empowered to do so. I strongly believe extending the trial to 90 days would go a long way towards that.

Power On!

Eligible users can request a trial in product as they near the end of the 60 day period

Yes to extend power BI trail,

Let's be honest, if microsoft is not willing to give a trial period someone else will and they will get the customer!
coz no user will waste 89 days to try/learn/share another software for 89 days :-)

Cheers

Yes. there's a period of time for an early adopter from 'hey, what's this new thing?' to 'now it's time to have a serious play with this' - and then more time until 'hey boss, i've been playing with this new tool - it's really cool - can i get a subscription?'. Three months would be about right. You have my vote.

Of course, most people would sneak it through their expenses and then if the boss notices, tell them i its essential to getting his/her reports out.
