It would be great if there were an option to set a minimum/start for X-axis (or Y-axis) automatically according the lowest number in a dataset.
In the current version, "huge" gaps are shown sometimes between group labels and columns/bars if positive numbers are too high and negative numbers are too small (due to a default set of an axis increment).
A manually setting is not enough when numbers could change after using slicers.

RE: Add option for an automatic setting of a minimum/start for X/Y-axis

The ability to let a user change a chart scale min / max would be very helpful in any scientific / engineering type of chart.  You should be able to use a measure to define the scale if desired but it would also be nice if the visual itself had dynamic controls for panning / zooming and setting chart scale min / max, etc.  Look at how charts work in Matlab, or Plotly, or many other applications like that.

I have published reports with engineering data using standard Power BI chart visuals for users in my company.  I have had to set the scales to Auto because users can use filters and slicers to select different data that may need the scales to change accordingly.  Auto scale doesn't always produce the view you want so user control is really needed.
