I am having problem that Power BI is treating the matrix 'rows' like 'freeze panes' in Excel. i.e. all the variables you put into the 'rows' (which actually become columns in your matrix) are fixed and not scrollable because they are frozen.

Hello a work around would be to increase the page size to the table size and scrol will allow to see all the table
Bellow link explain how to do it

RE: Rows in Matrix visualization is freeze and not able to scroll further

I am encountering this issue as well! And as I've seen here:

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Matrix-not-allowing-horizontal-scroll-in-Power-BI-Desktop-or/td-p/907

It is a more common desire with users. For some applications of particularly categorization analysis (e.g. in my case, exploring fairly complicated BOMs with multiple levels of parents, children and grandchildren), the way that these relationships are displayed in the classic matrix visual gives a great, uncluttered overview.

It would be conceivable that, for instance, Power BI could maintain the 'freeze panes' functionality of the rows up until the point that the rows (or columns) alone are overflowing the viewport. Once this happens, they could become horizontally scrollable.

A particularly painful detail is that the horizontal scroll bar is displayed, but not functional!

Kind regards,
Daan.
