    In case of local model update (desktop) or xmla end point (Service)

    It would be great to have a Microsoft certify external tools, same way as 3rd party visuals are certified

    On service or Desktop artifacts (Dataset , Report) code can be modified via External toolsExternal tool means "Not from Microsoft" We would like a MS certification for these toolsBecause currently the pbix is locked on Service after a XMLA END point update (read-write opeation)
