Scrollbars should have a default status and anytime the visual contests change due to filtering the scrollbar should reset to it's default state (top/bottom or left/right).
There are times where new data is added to the visual after filter changes and it's easy to not see the new data because you think that you're at the top of the table, but you're really only close to the top. This is confusing/frustrating for the end-user.

Please add in alignment session, that able to move the scroll bar option from default right to left and user friendly.
suppose if i use bar graph with latest dates, the horizontal bar is shows at left side with new data. like wise we have already alignment session in power bi desktop if we can able to add scrollbar option as per user request save changes. it should be good if we add in.

This is a really important item. I hope it can be fixed soon!

This is killing me and my 50 users! when is this going to be resolved?
great tool but these "obvious bugs" makes one reconsider Tableau

Really annoying thing. Had some problems not checked the scroll bar position after slicer reset. Please fix it

I agree. The current behaviour of scroll bar is very annoying for users. In fact, it looks more like a bug than a by-design feature.
