In dataset settings, the following sections are greyed-out and can't be viewed by anyone except the dataset "owner":
- Gateway connection
- Data source credentials
- Parameters
- Scheduled refresh.
The only way to view these settings is to "Take Over" the dataset, which often is not appropriate since the Owner is generally responsible for the dataset.
Any Admin (and probably Members) of the dataset should be able to view (read-only) this information without taking over the dataset.

RE: Allow Dataset Admins to View All Dataset Settings
This is a must have for visibility as our central team supports analysts around the business. Ideally being able to edit these without taking over when in an appropriate workspace role (i.e. Admin) would be beneficial also
RE: Allow Dataset Admins to View All Dataset Settings
Making this accessible to a particular ADFS security group would be even more useful for enterprise. This needs to be implemented.
RE: Allow Dataset Admins to View All Dataset Settings
Without this feature it's just no usable for enterprise BI...How can me make sure that every PowerBI Admin can edit all the settings and see all settings without overwriting something or takeover. Please implement this as soon as possible.
RE: Allow Dataset Admins to View All Dataset Settings
We really need this feature. Every workspace admin should be able to view all datasets settings.
RE: Allow Dataset Admins to View All Dataset Settings
This feature is greatly needed. As a Power BI Admin I often have to assist Dataset Owners with issues and don't always have access to the data they are connecting too. If I take over, I don't have the correct credentials in some cases and can't use their credentials as we utilized AD Accounts for access.
RE: Allow Dataset Admins to View All Dataset Settings
Include deployment pipeline rules.
