Standard setup in desktop version for basic financial reporting would be great.

- Easy setup of a classic Profit & Loss statement

- Easy setup of a classic Balance Sheet

- Easy setup of a classic Cash Flow statement

- And accommodation for common comparisons (last year, budget, rolling forecast), trend icons etc.


It is possible to "somewhat" create these views. However, it is not without a great effort, and the design and feel of it will only in rare cases be adequate.

It seems that most of the requests in here comes from "BI people" and we therfore see little focus on financial reporting aspects. But since financial departments all over the world could be a massive consumer of PowerBI reporting, it would propably make sense to cover the basics.

At least that is my take on it.
