NewBring back ability to test RLS for multiple reports on shared dataset in PBI Service

We used to be able to test the RLS of multiple reports that shared the same dataset by going into the dataset's options --> Security --> Test as Role to view the main report as a specific user. I could then go to the panel on the left, and select a new report (that shared the same dataset), and it would allow me to view that report as the specified user as well.
However, starting with the most recent UI update, the option to select another report is no longer available. If I click on the workspace icon, it just redirects me to the workspace. I can no longer view other reports as a specific user. Apparently turning off this feature was done intentionally, but this is a huge setback for anyone that uses "thin reports" with shared datasets.
We really need this functionality to be brought back as there is no other way to test RLS for these reports now!

I don't understand why such an important feature would be intentionally removed, please bring it back. This change means that I can not test RLS for multiple reports using the same dataset and this is a huge issue for me

Agree with other posters here... this is fundamental functionality to test RLS on reports built with shared datasets. Please bring this functionality back.

This is an important feature that should be delivered, since it is not possible anymore to test the RLS for different reports that were built using the same dataset.

Please bring this functionality back, its extremely useful for testing, why was this removed in the first place?!

Not having this option adds unnecessary hoops to jump when providing support or debugging reports. I would like to see this option back; the test as role feature is nearly useless in an environment using a centralized dataset.

Agree with commenters and poster here. We need a way to test as role, even if the option is added to the ellipsis menu for each report in the workspace area.
Ironically, when testing as role on a dataset, rather than showing me the dataset report, it would push me to one of the connected reports instead.
Making any changes to the url (reports and ReportSection) ids result in the test as role functionality being removed.

I cannot believe this ability was taken away! This makes the impersonation feature pretty much worthless!

This makes shared Datasets and reports based on them nearly unusable. We really need this functionality back!
