Very often I have clients who would like to see each bar's share of the subtotal/parent node instead of the value only. This can't be created as a measure either since ISINSCOPE doesn't work when the order of the hierarchy levels differ (as it will when using the Decomposition Tree visual).
A great solution to this would be a toggle in the visual's format pane with the following options:
- Display value only (e.g. 100)
- Display value with percentage of subtotal in parentheses (e.g. 100 (57%))
- Display percentage of subtotal only (e.g. 57%)

RE: Decomposition Tree: % of subtotal/parent node
Requires a lot of complex DAX coding to get a work around and it does not always work correctly depending on the hierarchy. Much more helpful to show % of parent then as a percent of total. Other visuals provide a similar option.
