Same naming rules for objects across the product

One of the real potential benefits of this product is that it combines a set of otherwise separate tools. However, it is important that it doesn't end up looking like a set of separate tools cobbled together.


Another area where this becomes obvious is where different rules are applied to naming different types of objects within the product. For example, spaces allowed in names, spaces not allowed in names, underscores allowed/not allowed, dashes allowed/not allowed.


It's important to hide this type of detail from the users, particularly where they think they are using one product or service.
