Possibility to create graph type "Quadrant Magic".
This type of vizualisation is very useful in manager's job, for ex:
Business situation: The manager has a lot of application to manage, each application has their propre degree critical value & their maturity value.
He wants a quadrant magic that permits him to visualize each application and their criticity + maturity
Solution:
-vertical axe: critical high, critical medium medium, critical low
- horizontal axe:
maturity support, maturity end-of-life, maturity release need
=> We have 9 zones in our graphs, then we can display each application in each zone.
=> The manager is able to see where position their application.

This is a great idea!
End customers are very familiar to this kind of visualization. Bubble (scatter) chart cannot answer the need, as it requires numeric data to x,y axis.

why don't you use bubble chart, in case you need lines, you can add background or images behind for report(for dashboard will not work). Workaround for dashboard, classify in calculated column each value according to quadrant or whatever, and display it as Legend, so each value will have different color.
