This idea has come about from the introduction of personal bookmarks in the PBI Service: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-personal-bookmarks-in-the-power-bi-service/

Many report creators use bookmarks as a dynamic way of showing/hiding visuals, or navigating between tabs. Exposing an end user to these bookmarks could be confusing for them and expose the underlying workings of the report.

Personal bookmarks are great, but an option in PBI Desktop to expose certain bookmarks in the PBI Service would satisfy both report creators and consumers.

This is a data security vulnerability for inexperienced users because it can expose areas of the report they thought were hidden. 4 years after initial suggestion and still not actioned by Microsoft. Poor

With the Multiple Audiences feature in combination with a multi-report design some issues mentioned can be solved!Still, with the visibility of all bookmarks in the service, it is absolutely confusing for the end user, as the visibility of all the bookmarks e.g. used on a single page to "reset" slicers, makes no sense at all.It will be a great addition to Power BI's storytelling capabilities if a user can select a group of bookmarks to follow the path of a narration like " CEO presentation January 2022."Thanks,Tom

This circumvents hiding of report pages. A user can access any hidden / non-published page via bookmarks. There can be one report page and 10 hidden with 1 bookmark on each report, and the user can access all 11. Terrible implementation.

I have several hidden pages, and it is only accessible using the Bookmarks, for two reason, 1- It could be because it is only accessible using specific buttons within deferent pages, as part of the navigation experience.2- It is hidden because it is still under development and I only need people who have Edit permissions to view it and get a feedback to improve it.I would thank you for the new ability to Group the bookmarks, this was an awesome new feature. but we still need the ability to control, which bookmarks can be viewed or not. This is not only improve the user experience, but also avoid users to access pages that they shouldn't view.
