This idea has come about from the introduction of personal bookmarks in the PBI Service: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/announcing-personal-bookmarks-in-the-power-bi-service/
Many report creators use bookmarks as a dynamic way of showing/hiding visuals, or navigating between tabs. Exposing an end user to these bookmarks could be confusing for them and expose the underlying workings of the report.
Personal bookmarks are great, but an option in PBI Desktop to expose certain bookmarks in the PBI Service would satisfy both report creators and consumers.

How is this still not a feature? I think devs focus too much on how to incorporate Power Bi with the rest of fabric and overlook the user experience and functionality of the desktop app.

It is imperative to avoid confusion of your end report consumers by limiting the user journey within the reporting tools. Hiding these report bookmarks should be default functionality. Please consider adding this in the next product release.

Filters do have a "hiding" option. Bookmarks must have the same option!!

This is absolutely a "MUST HAVE" feature! I even don't know why filters have this "hiding" option but not the bookmarks!PLEASE guys, work on this feature asap.

If you're creating reports with action buttons linked to bookmarks, it's crucial to hide those bookmarks. Please ensure this is implemented!

Being able to hide all bookmarks created in the desktop during creation of the reports that are published to the service would be highly beneficial! We only want the users of our reports (which are published to apps) to see the bookmarks they create, NOT the bookmarks we created to manage the reports.PLEASE make it an option to hide certain bookmarks!!!

I can't believe this was opened FIVE years ago, and nothing has happened. It is already a nuisance to have to work with bookmarks to create a dynamic, layered report, but then I can't even hide these from the report consumers?!
