When generating a visual from R script, the visual is only a picture, and cannot interact with other visuals created by Power BI, or be filtered by slicers. This means integration of R with Power BI only provide the same visuals that R can provide on its own. It would be nice if Power BI can apply filters to the data that feed into R script and allow R script running behind the scene to generate visuals based on filtered data.

Excellent suggestion! Especially if the R visual could be made off of a user sliced table.

Consistency with visual functionality, including R, would be a great addition to Power BI.

I agree with Chen. I have previously had issues with the non-interactive nature of R Visuals in Power BI. Allowing R visuals to be interactive would be a big deal, given the types and quality of wonderful visualizations that could be produced in the R environment.

I agree that R visuals should be able to be interactive. This functionality would greatly enrich our Power BI experience.

Having consistent functionality for the R script visuals would be a great enhancement.
