It would be very efficient and useful to be able to drag filters from this visual section down to filters on this page section. That way you don't have to manually search for the filters if you want to apply them to the entire page.

Agreed! Maybe for different reasons though. We are trying to move more (when appropriate) towards using the built in filter pane vs providing tools on the canvas itself. Whenever possible we try to keep the filters visible to the user at the page level, but often end up with filters on different visuals during development. It would definitely expedite polishing up reports before publishing to be able to drag an existing filter from a visual down to the "filters on this page" section.

I strongly agree. Allow the author to drag and drop a filter from Visual to Page to All Pages.
