Currently, there is only one option of aggregation of numbers i.e. millions and billions. If we create a customer measure, the same doesnot work well in dashbaords where multiple slicing and cross filtering is required.
If there was an option to define a alternate numbering system and use the same, it would be really great.

Can we have Indian number system nomenclature made available (such as Lakhs, Crores etc). This is very pertinent, in the Indian Context as the users will want these made relevant for Indian sub-continent, as "Thousands & Millions" are very impersonal and cannot be relate-able with the larger Indian audience and end users.

Power BI is allowing to to show the numbers in US Counting system (Billion/Million) For the users of India, we need LAKH and CRORE.
In tableau, it is very easy to do.

It will be beneficial for Indian users who follows .....,xx,xx,xx,xx,xx,xxx numbering format eg. 12,44,55,678.00

Indian number system in Power BI Web , Example in Power BI desktop - 15,04,43,572 in Web it is 150,443,572. Creating confusion to users in India.
