Hello,

Please add *BACK* the feature where we can modify the default "Width" setting for the App Navigation Pane. Previously, we could select "Small", "Medium", or "Large" width, so that report names wouldn't be cut off. Now... the feature is completely gone, and our report names don't fit.

This user pointed this "missing feature" last month after upgrading to the new Power BI App UI. Please add this important UI feature back...

RE: Modify "Width" Setting for App Navigation Pane (Removed Feature)

Hi, I'm on the product team working on Power BI org apps. Thank you for posting this idea and all those who have added comments and feedback below. We've merged in another similar idea asking for control over the app navigation. Please continue to submit your feedback and votes, we're aware of this idea and considering different ways to return and expand control over the org app experience.

...and just to be clear, editing report names is NOT a solution. This impacts report page names as well, of which we have thousands. The fixed small width doesn't allow enough room to provide descriptive page names.

RE: Modify "Width" Setting for App Navigation Pane (Removed Feature)

This unfortunately is a deal breaker for us. I work for a very large org and we have multiple apps, many reports, and countless report pages. We have adjusted our app navigation pane so that report and page names aren't truncated. We're relieved we discovered this before updating to the new app experience because many of our reports would be converted into a terrible user experience. While end users can adjust the pane width themselves, this isn't obvious to a large percentage of end users ...and more importantly, they'd have to adjust it every time they open the app. We will not be able to upgrade until this is resolved.

RE: Modify "Width" Setting for App Navigation Pane (Removed Feature)

Hello all,I'd like to raise the idea to reinstate a feature that was removed in 2022 Wave 1 when the PowerBI App Audience change was deployed. The details are below of that deployment.https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform-release-plan/2022wave1/power-bi/create-power-bi-app-versions-difference-audiencesWhen this change was deployed, the feature of customising the width of the Left Hand side navigation pane was removed and we are only left with the "Small" Width version which has then made many of our lengthy report titles be shortened to an ellipsis. Whilst a fix is to shorten the title name, it would be nice to be able to have the option back to switch to "Small, Medium or Large Navigation Width" as we previously did so we dont have to rename all reports so suit a feature we did have.Thank you.

Please:Either restore the orginal functionality: app-nav-custom-default.png (1103×828) (azureedge.net)Or alternatively save the adjustments that users of the service have made theirselves. Right now they are lost when refreshing a page. Thanks
