In many case we are using background shapes or objects which are overlapping with other visuals but when user clicks on a part of visual which is on back, it came to top and makes UX very confusing. There should be an option to lock visual z-order regardless of focused visual. So creating more stunning dashboards will be possible. eg. a map on background of whole report and some charts and filters on top of map.

It is astonishing that there are no votes. This simple thing would resolve numerous issues. I wonder how it can be promoted?
