Needs VotesDate Slicers with Between option not updating values when other slicers are filtered
Steve Bell on 13 Jul 2017 19:27:18
My date slider slicer populates correctly when I use the "Between" option. The oldest and newest dates populate the two boxes based on the data.
However, when I use a different slicer (e.g. Geography) to filter the records, the date slider slicer doesn't update the oldest and newest dates that are displayed in the two date boxes. When this same slicer is set to List or Dropdown, the dates DO filter. It is NOT filtering when the slicer option is set to "Between".

This...a thousand times this. The only option to come close to this for me is to put a zoom slider on the X-axis with a slider label. It works, but it always shows the scale of the overall data (usually 15+ years), so it becomes mostly useless at day, week, or monthly ranges. Being able to slide or enter and get the date feedback would make things a lot more granular. This has been asked for over the years, if it can't be done with the existing tool, maybe make a new one?
