I have a MSDN account that ends in a .gov. It sure would be nice to be able to evaluate this site, but I currently cannot due to my email account name.

Until we have support for Government Community Cloud tenants you can evaluate the service by using an alternate e-mail. For example see https://support.powerbi.com/knowledgebase/articles/594480-signing-up-for-power-bi-with-a-new-office-365-trial

RE: Need Power BI to support .gov email address
Support for non-GCC, but .gov extensions at this point would be advantageous as well. We are non-GCC, but have a .gov extension and when signing up, we are notified PowerBI is not available to us.
RE: Need Power BI to support .gov email address
This is very lame. I also have a .gov email address and this would be a *great* tool for me at work. Not all .gov agencies are connected with a massive budget with unlimited funds available for this type of work, nor are they going to jump into your government community cloud. Instead, you just have us sitting here with several hundred Office 365 subscriptions and we can't use the features that you offer to regular consumers or the private sector for free. Not being able to use this when everything else we have is MS based is a huge annoyance. I suspect our response to being unable to access this will be to buy a copy of Tableau.
