To get a good view of time data like sales forecasts it is useful to see both the recent past and recent future based around the current date.
However in the "Relative Date Filtering" settings it is only possible to choose one of the three options (in the next / in the last / in this). This means you can not see both the recent past and future.
It would be better if Relative Date Filtering was made consistent with the Advanced Filtering so that there is also an And/Or option and the ability to select a second value.

Especially in planning situations being able to see xx months + next xy months is crucial functionality!

This scenario always questioned by end users. I need past 8 quarters and future 2 quarters to be available on my Date slicer. I cannot get this done since no option to select both future and past. the current option provide once direction only (either past or future). even though this idea ha very less number of votes, it's very important feature to have. Development team, please consider this option/feature.

This comes up all the time with my users. They want to see 8 weeks in the past and all future dates for an order file as an example. They use the relative date a lot on graphs for dashboards where you want to see where we have been at the same time where we are going.

I believe this would resolve the gap I have in our reporting. I want to choose relative dates that are 0-30 days (currently using "in the next" and "30 days" to achieve), 30-60 days and 60-90 days out. I'm looking at actions coming down the pipeline for our team. I need the relative filter to let me see data that's within 90 days, but more than 60 days out.
If I could use multiple conditions such as "is not within" 60 days AND "is within" 90 days it should solve the issue.
