Hi,
if you are an external guest user (added to Microsoft Entra B2B) and have admin rights in a Power BI workspace of a customer tenant, then you can access the reports or even publish reports from your Power BI Desktop to the workspace.
However, even when you have admin rights, as a guest user you're not able to go to the semantic model settings, even if you were the one publishing it.
It would be perfect, if a guest user could access the semantic model settings the same as a user from the clients tenant, so the guest user can set up the data sources, parameters and refresh settings.
Like that, you could support your customers regarding Power BI even better and without having the customers do the settings every time there is a new publication.
Best,
Anett

RE: Enable access to semantic model settings for external (guest) users
Sorry, it turns out there is a possibility to change the settings in the Power BI Tentant settings. With that, the above described restriction is solved.
