When working on a heavy data source, and especially after having done some formating, the system can take a very long time to refresh after each step.
Would it be possible to continue to be able to design the query once the first 100 rows have been calculated? This way we would not have to wait forever between each step... THe rest of the table could be refreshed while we are working on the design afterwards.

Per my previous reply, this is already supported. If there are point-wise issues, please share them via the Issues forum so they can be investigated.

RE: Display a preliminary preview of the result
No the issue was not that the preview do not give enough subset, it is the fact that if I work with a query with 10k+ rows, the refresh of the preview takes a very long time.
What I would like to see is that after the minimum display of rows (first 15 for example), you are not blocked by calculation anymore and you can carry on designing the query.
Because so far, once my query has a lot of referencing and grouping and calculation, it can take up to 5 minutes for the preview to regenerate... So if I need to add 5 steps it is 25 minutes of waiting time which is insane!
I don't think it is an issue because I am not the only one here experiencing this behaviour.
