According to the documentation the On-Premises Data Gateway needs outbound ports 443, 5671-5672, 9350-9354 to be opened.
We managed to get all required ports opened on our server/network.
Now I want to install the new On-Premises Data Gateway on the server, and it appears that the installation needs port 80 (!!).
I downloaded the install file on my local PC, copied the install file to the server, and ran it. Then I got this message:
The on-premises data gateway installer failed to download.
A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond 188.8.131.52:80
Is there a place where we can get the complete install program? Or is there another workaround?
If not, dear Power BI team, please update the documentation, or better, change the installation program.
Cheers, Edgar Walther

RE: gateway install
I just installed the Gateway with the latest updates, so it looks like you may have be running into environment specific issue.
Please raise a support ticket at http://support.powerbi.com....
I actually demonstrated this during the call today.
