    If connecting to a data source then it is fairly straightforward to ensure targets and values are a sum of related sub-goals. It would also be useful to be able to do be able to set the target and value of goals to be the sum of their sub-goals for manual inputs.

    I guess it would be more flexible to allow standard functions rather than just sum - eg count, average?
