I get Power BI Pro via my Enterprise MSDN account. So, tried to activate the benefit and it makes me create a new account instead of using my existing account (an Enterprise Azure account)

Readdressing this in relation to development is that we can't tie the Azure credits we have to utilise with Power BI Pro for development around areas such as ML, Embedded, CDM and restriction on development with other Power Platform products.

Hello,
I have been in contact with the MSDN team and this is working as expected as the MSDN benefit is limited to Development and Testing NOT production usage. (This stipulated in the MSDN EULA). As their is no way to limit an Office license to Development or Test the MSDN team is requiring a Trial Office Tenant be used.

Yes, recently I tried to apply my MSDN subscription PowerBI Pro benefit to my company's E3 tenant. However, it already had free licenses applied to it, I could not apply the MSDN sub PBI Pro license. Instead it created a whole new O365 tenant which completely defeats the purpose of a Power BI Pro license and creating Dashboards etc and SHARING with colleagues inside my company.

Counter intuitive, double dipping, left hand not talking with right hand development.

I understand the PowerBI team need to make money, but our company have already paid for MSDN subscriptions, why should we be forced to pay again?

Can someone be kind enough and update this thread with a workaround? Why are we asked to create a new account?

I have the same problem.

How do I add PowerBI Pro licence (MSDN Benefit) to our company O365?

I did manage to do it for Azure, but for O365 (PBI Pro) it does not work.

Are there any news, on how to activate the MSDN Power BI with my O365 account?
