When connecting to a Live SSAS data source, you cannot see any sample data with the data browser as the data and relations options are disabled. I would like to be able to review data in the tool prior to building visuals. Ideally would like to see the model relations as well as we do in the visual studio project.

its the purpose of an SSAS cube, hiding the complexity of the models, tables etc... from the user. if you want to review your olap cube, you can generate the documentation of your SSAS solution or open the project iin visual studio.
