Working with ESRI GIS, there are two different types of stand alone geodatabases:
• “Personal Geodatabase” (.mdb), which is essentially an Access Database
• “File Geodatabase” (.gdb), store datasets in a folder of files on your computer

You can use data from a “Personal Geodatabase”, as a valid data source in Power BI. However, the latest ESRI application ArcGIS Pro only supports “File Geodatabases” which does not seem to be a valid datasource in Power BI.

As ESRI is pushing for ArcGIS Pro to be the only application for ESRI GIS users, it is critical that Power BI is able to use “File Geodatabases” as a datasource if we want to visualize a project’s data in both ESRI GIS applications and Power BI.

Explanation of the two different ESRI stand alone database types:

Access to file geodatabases and SDE would be amazing. I would further suggest connections to these from within PowerAutomate as well.

I agree it would be valuable to be able to pull shapes and their attribute data from feature classes that are stored in file geodatabases, as well as from Spatial Database Engines (SDE)
[from https://support.esri.com/en/white-paper/270 -- SDE was developed for the geographic information system (GIS) community and the database management system (DBMS) community who wish to extend their databases with spatial technology.]
