At the Data Summit a few things were show that were available and other as "coming soon." Someone showed the ability to create graphs/charts in Excel and easily export them as Power BI tiles for use in reports and dashboards. Does anyone know if this is now available, what version or Excel/Power BI, or when it will be available?

You will be able pin Excel element snapshots to Power BI dashboards.

On top of the last comment , you can also upload complete excel workbooks to Power BI and pin to dashboard parts of the workbook. see these articles:
