When using a on premises service to push data to Power BI it would be very helpful to have an option to get rid of old data. Therefore an option to delete a subset of the rows (for example: where timestamp > 24h) would be awesome!

RE: Option to delete a subset of rows from a table via REST API
Not sure if this is exactly the same thing, but I need a way to delete rows from Straining Push Datasets. I think Stacy May requested something like this over here:

Any update on this? Can the PBI staff please reply in the comments so we know this is something they're working on.
This is especially painful when you have to re-create a very large dataset when new rows are added.

Agree, lack of this is harming the ability to use the REST API to keep a dataset mirrored with a view of an on premises (or cloud) service. There's a separate suggestion for update, but this delete goes hand in hand. You'd want to be able to delete by a row id as well as what the OP said.
