With new filters experience, it will be great if we can have the date slider for the date filter, similar to how it can be done for slicers today.

Why this is not yet available in filter pane. It is the most useful functionality when it comes to filtering dates.

The current implementation of the date filter in the filter pane is much too complicated. Having to think about "starting on or after" "before" etc is way too difficult for users. A slider would go a long way.

Missing the slider interaction on filter pane is the only thing keeping me from being able to switch to filter pane entirely
