Allowing the author or authors to specify a default page for the report will make it so that when the report is updated or changed, the person making the update does not have to remember to select the "default" page before saving and publishing. This will save a ton of headache from many end users wondering why their "default" page changed on them after making an adjustment to the report.

'Even the main author may "forget" to pick the default start page while saving the report! When checking the report on PBIRS the error often gets noticed which means ... You know what that means.
