The translation in the Power BI Service are not always so good. At least in Dutch, maybe also in other languages.
For example:
"by" - translated as: "door" - better is: "per"

This was since implemented and never closed

Thank you for your feedback, Edgar. We were looking into your Dutch translation suggestion and agree with you. For us to fix it in correct context, can you please provide more information (more strings surrounding the word, or screenshots)? That would be very helpful!

And thank you for your feedback, Paulo. We fixed translations per your suggestion. It will show the correct translations next time we refresh the release in the next few weeks.

RE: Improve translations in Power BI Service

Hi!

Recently there was a translation change on the expression Drill Down in Power BI Brazilian Portuguese.

What was once "Drill down", now is "Busca Detalhada", what means "Detailed Search"
What was once "Drill up", remains "Drill up", which shows an incomplete translation.

I would advise to use the same translations in Excel:

Drill Down to "Expandir" (To Expand)
Drill Up to "Recolher" (To Retract)

Expand All to "Expandir todo o campo" (To expand all the field)
Retract All to "Recolher todo o campo" (To retract all the field)

Since those translations are already validated (see Excel image in the post below) and well known and understood in Brazilian Community, I would advise to use the same translation on Power BI.

Thanks in advance and have a good day!
