In my company, we have more than 3 environments.
We have DEV-QA-UAT-PERF-STAGE-DEMO-PROD.
It would be great if I can add many deployment stages as environments I have to deploy.

We are planning to enable adding more stages to deployment pipeline, other than the default three of Dev, Test and Prod.

No timeline yet, but work will start in the coming months.

I agree with this. I'd also like more control over how many stages there are and how workspaces can be added to pipelines.

This should be more customisable for each installation as we need a minimum of 4 ideally

Hiya.

We need to be able to add more stages. At the moment, our process is to manually switch the "production" stage between the "preprod" and "production" workspaces. It would be great to be able to add this (or more) stage to the pipeline, especially since a stage (such as dev or int) already used in a pipeline cannot be used in a different pipeline.

Thanks for your consideration.

Hi Power BI manager,

This is desperately required.

Could you advise when this will be available?

Thanks

We have multiple customer production environments, so it would be great to be able to have more than three stages. We have Development - Internal testing - UAT - Production (xn).

I have seen & explore “Deployment Pipeline” feature but the challenge is we have 4 environments (Development, QA, UAT & Production) for Embedded and Power BI Pipeline has three…

Any workaround will take us right back to manual process or PowerShell/API route.

Is there a way to customize Deployment Pipeline to create another environment to add UAT?

Or reduce the pipeline to two stages (dev/prod) for some "simpler" constituencies.

Definitely would be helpful to support n-number of environments
