I like the idea of new Filters pane, however still can't simply switch of standard slicers because of following reasons:

Order of Filters is strictly alphabetical - I would like to have chance to order Filters by myself for example based on query from which they are created, or at least have a chance to have there custom hierarchies created.

Be able to format color of filter per one single field, it is very tied to ask above. Simply I would like to help with UX that they would know that GEO filters are blue, products red etc. Or it can be automatized via root query - I cam define than all the filters from particular query will be red/blue etc.

Pin option for filter pane - to be able to define if users will see Filter pane or if filter pane will not be shown for them by design, it would help with users adoption (remove slicer and start to use filters).

Best regards

Pavel

RE: Filter formatting

Currently, the checkmark when selecting items with a Basic Filtering type is always black. This is a problem on dark theme reports that have dark filter panes. The checkmark is not visible. Please allow the checkmark color to be customizable.

RE: Filter formatting

Voted. Filters are so important that the developper needs a total control on the filter pane. The ideas about the filter pane will have no end.
Personaly, I would like to have a more flexible solution with the possibility to add the slicers I want including custom visuals. So I developped my own solution.

Please have a look at this one minute video and share your comments there :

RE: Filter formatting

The new filter experience is GREAT! one frustration on a multi-page report is I have to set the color and formatting on the Filter pane for each page.

QUICK TIP: you can always clone the page and then copy visuals, but this does nothing for complex reports that already have bookmarks.

RE: Filter formatting

A way so you can filter TEXT colors based off of a value. I know i can filter map country based on a value, but it would be great if this was possible for cards, so the color from the country would translate to text in a card!
